Jessica Monroe is a dedicated nurse who thrives as the CEO of The Journey Ahead Home Care Agency. She attended Auburn Career Center, where she completed the LPN program in 2017. Jessica has worked as a nurse in various settings, including home care, long-term care, and corrections. In 2021, she ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing her own home care agency, helping bridge the gap for residents in the community who wish to live comfortably at home as they age, instead of residing in nursing homes. Balancing her roles as a healthcare professional and a family matriarch, Jessica finds joy in cooking delicious meals, delving into books, watching movies, and exploring new destinations through travel. She exemplifies resilience, compassion, and a deep commitment to both her career and family.
Beyond her professional life, Jessica is passionate about volunteering and donating. She believes in giving back to the community and regularly participates in feeding the homeless and donating time and money to her home church and local charities.
